Fracture Fixation of the Shoulder
Dr Maguire treats fractures of the shoulder either non-operatively or with surgery.
Undisplaced fractures of the proximal humerus can be managed with sling immobilzation for 6 weeks and then mobilization with physiotherapy.
Displaced fractures of the proximal humerus may require ORIF (Open Reduction and Internal Fixation) or Shoulder Replacement.
