Workers Compensation Injuries

At Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists we offer treatments for musculoskeletal Workers Compensation injuries. Dr Maguire has extensive experience in the non operative and surgical management of Work Cover injuries.

Non opererative treatments offered include referral to physiotherapy, exercise prescription for Exercise Physiology, ultrasound guided interventions such as corticosteroid injections and autologous tenocyte implantation.

If surgery is required some procedures are done on site at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre or MISC.

Medicolegal Reports

At Sports and Orthopaedic Specialists we offer a Medicolegal service for second opinions and Permanent Impairment Assessments.

Reports can be obtained via your legal council.

The process involves filling out some forms and then a consultation with Dr Maguire where he will take a history and examine you.
